The Ancient Laxman Temple of Deval
This temple holds a significant place in the epic of the Ramayana. It's built on the very spot where Laxman Ji rested while returning after leaving Sita Mata in exile. When Shri Ram decided to abandon Sita Mata, he entrusted Laxman with the sorrowful task of escorting her. Laxman Ji left her at the Valmiki Ashram in Falswadi village. The journey and the emotional weight of his duty took a toll on him. According to lore, when Valmiki began leaving him at the ashram, Laxman Ji fainted.
